CLASS 3

2 PCs, Interactive Whiteboard, CD/Tape Player, DVD/Video Player

CLASS 4

2 PCs with Printers, Interactive Whiteboard, DVD/Video Player, CD/Tape Player

Resource Room

TV & Video Player, 6 PCs, CD/Tape Player, Scanner, Colour Laser Printer for the whole network

All computers in the school are networked so that each class has Internet Access and each child has their own Login Space.  Our school policy ensures safe use of the internet and children are supervised at all times.

We encourage the children to regularly use computers, listening centres, CD players, and digital cameras.  Indeed the digital camera was in such demand we have now purchased a camera for each class, using our Tesco vouchers.  In 2005 we managed to save enough to purchase a digital video camera.  Every class has a wireless keyboard and mouse to facilitate more interactive teaching.

Teachers plan for the use of ICT in their lessons, especially in Literacy and Numeracy.  We have regular visits from our ICT Technician Aidan Manning, to ensure reliable use of ICT.  Teachers also use computers to develop their own teaching materials, such as worksheets and writing frames.

We are proud to have Interactive whiteboards in all classrooms.  We also have a separate ICT Suite combined with our Library.  We are now connected to BT Broadband.
